Sunday. A day that is oh so bittersweet.

On Sunday’s you get to relax, run errands, catch up on household chores, or spend time with friends and family, as I did today.  I went shopping with my sister, out to a wonderful lunch, had dinner with my husband, and cuddled up on our couch to watch a movie.  It was a wonderful day.  However, it comes with the realization that the weekend has come to a close and tomorrow morning begins the start of a new week, and a new day of work.

Work is such an interesting thing because for so many of us it is strictly that, work.  Something we do to pay our bills.  We spend the majority of our time in an environment that could be good, bad or indifferent, but it is an environment that is not truly fulfilling, not truly allowing us to be ourselves.  It is the precious and lesser time we have on the weekends to be with the people we don’t see during the week, do the things we love, and watch the movies we otherwise just don’t have time for.

It really is such a backwards way of living when you think about it. Wouldn’t it be nice if Sunday wasn’t the end of something we spend the whole week waiting for.  Wouldn’t it be nice if it was just…Sunday.

On a more fun note, and less a reminder of the week ahead, we received our wedding images in the mail yesterday and were able to upload them into our computer.  Here are a few of my favorites :) Laura_Scott_W 00376
